Cultivation & Curing

At Inspiratobacco, the journey of our cigars begins in the rich, fertile soils of the Jalapa Valley, Nicaragua, and Jamastran Valley, Honduras. These regions are renowned globally for their earthy, full-flavored tobacco, making them the ideal locations for cultivating our premium leaves.

We start by nurturing our tobacco in greenhouses for 45 days, where each plant receives the utmost care using advanced Bayer Farming products and pure river water. Once the plants are ready, they are carefully transplanted into the fields, where they thrive in the valley’s stable climate—characterized by a consistent temperature of 80°F and humidity ranging from 60% to 82%.

After approximately 110 days, our tobacco is ready for harvesting. Each leaf is meticulously classified based on its harvest stage—Corte #1 through Corte #7—before being taken to our air-curing barns. Here, the tobacco undergoes a 50-day curing process, allowing the leaves to develop the rich, complex flavors that define our cigars

Blending & Rolling

At the heart of every Inspiratobacco cigar is the art of blending and rolling. We pride ourselves on using only the finest tobaccos, including Criollo 98 wrappers from Finca SKELETÓS #1 in Jalapa and Criollo 98 Ligero, Viso, and Walker’s Broadleaf fillers from Finca SKELETÓS #2 in Jamastran.

Once the tobacco has been cured, it is sorted into Tripa, Viso, Ligero, Banda, or Capa, each playing a vital role in creating the perfect blend. The magic begins in our Pilones, where the tobacco undergoes a natural fermentation process, losing moisture and concentrating its flavors over 6 months.

Our skilled boncheros then take over, hand-blending and rolling each cigar with precision. Each bonchero crafts up to 300 blends a day, working from 8 am to 4 pm to ensure that every cigar is a masterpiece. After blending, the cigars are rested in cedar coffins for 72 hours, where humidity is carefully extracted to ensure the perfect draw.

Aging & Quality Control

At Inspiratobacco, we believe that true excellence is achieved through patience and meticulous attention to detail. That’s why our cigars undergo an extensive aging process, ensuring that each blend reaches its peak flavor.

After the initial rolling, our cigars are placed in a -0-degree freezer for 48 to 72 hours, eliminating any naturally occurring Gorgojo eggs. Once frozen, the cigars are returned to cedar coffins with humidity extractors for an additional 72 hours, ensuring they are completely free of moisture.

For us, a young cigar is one that has been aged for less than 1.6 years. Our cigars, including the INSPIRA series, are aged between 1.7 and 2 years, allowing the flavors to fully mature and develop their distinctive profile. This commitment to quality ensures that every cigar you smoke is a testament to the craftsmanship, tradition, and passion that define Inspiratobacco.

Packing & Storing

At Inspiratobacco, we believe that the experience of enjoying a fine cigar begins the moment you open the box. That’s why we take great care in our packaging, ensuring that every cigar is not only perfectly preserved but also presented with a touch of elegance and thoughtfulness.

Our cigars are carefully placed in handcrafted cedar wood boxes, which are not just containers but an integral part of the aging process. Each box is lined with Integra Boost Humidity Control Packs, ensuring that the cigars maintain their perfect moisture level during transit. This attention to detail guarantees that when our cigars reach you, they are in pristine condition, ready to offer you an unparalleled smoking experience.

We also understand that presentation matters. Our packaging is designed to reflect the luxury and quality of the cigars within, making each box not just a purchase, but a gift—whether for yourself or for someone who appreciates the finer things in life. When you open a box of Inspiratobacco cigars, you're not just opening a product; you're unveiling a story, a legacy, and a tradition of excellence.
